I had problems too, if you've already talked to Nalia and she said meet there, head to the city gates, then try to go there from there. It seemed to work for me, I guess you have to take a direct route.

go to the citygate and talk to the soldiers, that's all

Yeah, I had same problem but don't remember what I did, it was a while back, it finally worked after me going here and there, back to copper coronet, etc. Keep playing around with it till you can get to go I guess, other than that best of luck.

you have to go to the city gates every time a new location is marked on your map. for instance, if you go to the Keep, then get back and Delon talks to you about the Umar Hills, then you have to go to the gates again. I believe this represents the fact that you are in a city you have never seen before and have no idea where you are going. It also represents, i think, you asking the people at or outside the gate for directions. On a similar note, why is EVERYTHING 20 hours away from Athkatla? no more, no less. it seems very unrealistic, especially since distances from other places to each other vary with terrain and distance.

Eh... nope. You only need to go through the City Gates once. You need not go through it once for every new location.
