Does anyone else have the chronic habit of sleeping in class on a hot and dreary day? I keep falling asleep because most of my classes are held in hot, stuffy rooms and Australia is absolutely sweltering in the summer.
I really need to stop sleeping or I'll miss out on all my classes. Aside from taking a coke bottle to every class (I couldnt do that today because my throat was killing me) what can I do?????

Maby going to bed earlier? You might not be eating enough food. Coz this always makes you tired and sleapy.

Try these things:

Have enough sleep (like at least 9 hours a night).
Drink plenty of water (like HEAPS.)
Eat healthy food, get off the junk food and get onto the vegetables and fruit.
In the weekend make sure that at least one night is sleep night. (like 10-12 hours).

Anyway, my $0.02

A recent discovery shows that too much sleep is bad for you and shortens your lifespan. (This is only true if you are 18 years or over) An adult should be sleeping 6-8 hours max! I read this in the paper a few days ago....

yeah so did I, but sleeping less isnt going to help you if you fall asleep at the wheel of your car going 100kph on the motorway.

The thing is that I live in a boarding house, so I dont choose my food, I have swimming training every morning at 7, so that limits my sleep time and I'm in Year 11 doing my VCEs so I naturally have lots of work to do in the evening..
Any quick cures?
