As for your question, I can only guess.
As you might have found out, this is a very big forum, and uses ALOT of room on the server. And for about a week ago, it was too much. The servers owner closed us up. But then, Ziroc is buying a new server now (that's what the donation-bar on the top of the page is for).
But we have opened again for a little while now.
So, until we have the new server, we must use as little room as possible. For that to happen, Ziroc cut down some things, like smilies and, now, the 'Search'-option.
But dont worry, when the new server is up and running, it will come back.

Also, check the bottom right. There should be a menu that will take you to any forum. Just click on the arrow and choose your forum.
