I am - or rather, was.

Still have reserve duties though. I'm in the Combat Engineers.

Turbovee is a PO1 in the Navy, plus there are many veterans here. Good luck in the Guard and later in the Army

I went through Basic and AIT at Fort Benning, Georgia. Also at Fort Benning, Air Borne school, and Ranger inprocessing. Yes I was an Airborne Ranger. I was stationed in Savanah, Ga. at Hunter Army Airfield, 2nd/75th Ranger Bat. I was an 11B1P, if you are serious about Rangers sometime in the future get your Airborne training now. I started my Airborne training the same day I graduated from AIT. It is way easier to complete when you are fresh out of boot and in great shape. If there is anything you would like to know, or any questions from training to the lifestyle just ask.

I spent 10 years as a Crypto Tech in the navy and then 5 years after as a civilian consultant to the Marine Corps on their newest C3 systems.

I'm currently planning on joining the Highlanders as an infantry soldier. I've just passed my medical and enterance exam, so i'm off to phase one (basic training) soon. I hope to specialise as a mortar crewman first and move onto train as a sniper after i've built up my fitness even more and had a few year experiance in the field. As you may guess sniper training is really tough.
