I'm having trouble displaying Gif images on my puter,I've tried setting all my privacy settings to minnimum, droping my firewall, etc but this hasn't helped.
The weird thing is it allows some of the images (gifs )to pass.
Also if i click on show picture they appear
I'm running a P3 450 With 512 of memory.

Looking at the smileys as I'm typing this, only 6 are not showing

Go to Tools>internet options and in the Advanced flip look for "Multimedia" and see if "Display pictures" is checked... but you probably already did so... I'm just trying to help...

Try downloading another browser, opera would be a good choice. See if the same happens, if it does its a problem with your computer or your internet connection; if it doesnt its a problem with your browser.
For a net/computer problem, run a virus scan first; if it doesnt pick up anything then contact your ISP; theyll know what to do... eventually.
For a browser problem; either switch to a different browser, or download IE again, and it with any luck will replace all current files youve got with it. I think. ;)
