Seeing as the games are not related to each other, I would imagine that we would create a new one, similar to what we did with Throne of Bhaal (depending on traffic, etc).

I have a thread in the IWD original forum that I and others were posting updates to the game's news briefs...but I have not been over there in a week to bump it to the top or make any additions. It's in there somewhere, if not on the first page. That is the desgnated thread for IWD II discussion for the moment.
