By the time the Primary rolls around to my neck of the woods, the Party nominations are usually locked up. The NC Primary was last week, which meant no vote necessary on the Democratic Presidential ticket. I know the idea is to give the candidates a chance to campaign in each area, but if we can have the election on the same day across the country, why not the primary?

Uh huh. And while we're making changes that seem like common sense to us, we might as well do away with the electoral college.

While we are at it, on election day in November, why not stagger the start times at the polls, so that dispite the difference in time zones, we are all actually voting at the same time. No more 3 hour 'heads up' for California, or 1 hour for Timber.
