Too bad the dog didn't have better aim.

Why shoot them? Can't he give the puppies to people who might want them?

Use newspaper to advertise "puppies for adoption". It's quick and does the job.

That's how alot of dogfighting dogs become dogfighters, if it was me, I would give them to either friends (as he apparentley tried to), or do as he did, and shoot them. It's not pretty, but better then having a pup grow up to bite someone. Of course I spay/neutr (sp) my dogs.

Sir Degrader, that's why you check where the puppies go to, and you don't just give them to the first person answering the ad. And also, if he really had such big problems, he could've tried finding owners through a shelter or animal rights / protection people... I bet they'd want to help.
