Looks like the battlefield of the future isn't so far in the future after all! |
Veddy Interesting...
I've seen footage of that thing. This is one of those areas I'm happy to see robots replacing humans in. That's as long as it has a human operator anyway. I'm reminded of a quote from a Nova I saw: "The first thing you have to realize about robots is that they're profoundly stupid." We don't want a profoundly stupid machinegunner. |
The image of an army of fast, stealthy and computer-precise robots killing an army of mere ordinary humans is disturbing. This overrides the comfort of knowing that, for now, the army of robots is small, developing, and on my "side".
Of course, war is the art of using machines to effectively kill people. So this is really nothing new, but the same old thing a twist. |
So this is all a prelude to Terminator. ;)
|
The drillsergeant won't be pleased with this development, how the hell do you tell a robot to drop and gimme 20 ? :D
|
Plus it's hard to break a robot's spirit. And less satisfying.

Yeah within the month you will see an advertisment saying.

Hell, anyone who has played Quake would be able to control these things if they have moveable cameras.

There's a challenge here for the supreme hackers around the world, i bet it's possible to make them turn against their masters. :D
