I have run into a major Problem . I'm playing BG2:SoA with ToB installed . I just escaped the Asylum through the portal to the underdark . I ran into the Saugain Priestess . When she went to cast the speel to understand her I went defensive and Killed her . I can't get to the Saugain city now . Is there any way I can fix this without starting over . PLease Help

You didn't Save afterwards, did you?

Just Reload any Saved game (you should have an Auto-Save) before that point. Then, turn off your AI (there's a button in the lower-right corner of your screen), and your party members shouldn't attack her unless you specifically tell them to.

I'm not familiar with your exact situation, as I've never taken the portal, myself. Are you saying you're in the Underdark, and a Saughain shows up to talk to you?

Yeah i suppose your right, anyway the best way to go would be to use the Auto save file, if you didnt overwrite it of course, failing that skipping the section all together by using the portal is the best way to go, of course if you must have the vorpal sword you could always use the item code.... if your into that sort of thing.

Taking the portal puts you directly in the underdark. You may just be confused, and took Saemon's ship, or you are thinking of Kuo-Toa instead. At one point in the underdark, you encounter some weird fish-people near a bridge, and they attack you, period. killing them is OK. If you killed the Sahaguin priestess instead, just walk over, kill the king, and use his key to open the door off to the right of his throne room. In it is a "magic rope" that will allow you to use the tunnel on the far east of the screen to go to the Underdark.

Thanx for all the suggestions . The autosave got overwritten . Looks like I start over as I would rather do the quests and get the XP not just the Vorporal sword . But it's cool I have been enjoying this game so much it should be fun to redo some areas I went through blindly . Much was missed .

Actually, believe it or not, it's GOOD that you missed a lot of stuff your first game--it makes the second game more fun!
