Yea, the attack has appeared to have begun. Watching CBC, and it says that there is shots heard in Baghdad, but no actual hits.

How nice would that be if with a few missle and a couple hours Sadam and Co. was destroyed. You would need 100% full proof evidence of where they were. A nice thought none the less.

I heard something one commentator said that Bush's advisors told him to act a little early because they thought they knew where Saddam was located.

Nice thought, as I'd love it if we could get Saddam right off the bat rather than bomb everything and destroy every building and possibly innocent people living there in search of him.

well, its about damn time. we spent WAY TOO much money keeping our troops there for so long. I say do it or don't, but if you are going to, then damnit do it right. finish what should have been finished 12 years ago, and lets move on. SEMPER FI

Foxnews is reporting that Allied Intelligence has been track 5 leadership targets, Saddam, his two sons and two others, for the last three weeks. They are saying that one or more of those leadership targets was the target of opportunity.
