Um, there are only a few lines each character has. They seem different because the sound is played for a different length of time depending on the spell, but there are *not* different words to each spell.

Haste, I memorized the words now. God I use that spell so much!

I think there's a separate set of words for each of the 8 schools of Wizard magic (Abjuration, Evocation, etc), and some of the Priest spells (which have Spheres like "Combat" and "Sun"), might borrow some of these sound files, or have their own.

I find that whenever anyone (male or female) casts a Necromancy spell (which includes all Healing spells), I hear: "Vita, mortis, carrio."

Illusion: "Veritas, reydo, hup!"

I think True Sight is that "Fassio, fassio" one. Other Divination spells might say the same thing.

This was true in BG1 as well. Also, if the spell has a very short casting time, the sound is shorter, too. Cast Skull Trap, and all you say is "Vita."

I forget who, but someone translated the first BG1 healing spell. It was in Latin or Greek, i forget, anyway, i forget what it was. But they all are probably in some language.

6... AFAIK you are right... there are different casting voices for each of the schools with male and female versions of both :D

Well, the "Vita, mortis, something" translates easily to "Life, death, something," which is appropriate for Necromancy, and the Illusion one uses the word Veritas, which is "Truth." We'd have a better shot at translating the phrases if we could hear them more clearly, or better yet, see them written out.
