Let us not forget the ones who died
in the wars of the past
the ones who came back
and the ones who did not last

Ask an old man what he did for us
ask a young one why the war
and both will tell you
America is home and they would die for

When there is war on our home land
there is anger in all
when there is death in war
many tears will fall

POW's and MIA's were lost to wars
of new and old
ut let us listen
to the stories they've told
