I agree with you that if they are going to kidnap somebody, let it be someone fighting against them, not somebody there only for the sole purpose of helping the people.

Their requests are never met, so I don't see why they continue to bother... </font>

Just a point of information here - their demands usually are met because the vast majority of kidnapped are Iraqi's who don't make it onto our news. It's just a way to make money now that there is no law and order and one that is proving extremely lucrative domestically. Plus there is the occasional Western government that has allegedly paid to have its citizens released.

But yeah, I agree about targeting aid workers, slow disembowling seems appropriate :)

Why pigs larry - why not dogs?

From their point of view, the "aid worker" represents the greatest upheaval to their way of life. The guy who stands guard with a gun in case you pull out a gun is not nearly so much a threat to you as the guys teaching your women and children to think differently than you are capable of even understanding. They are in your homeland teaching open rebellion and societal overthrow. How innocent would you see them, then?
