Sup doods, I'm thinking about startin a game with a party entirely created by me, IŽll have a paladin(myself), 2 barbarians, a thief, a cleric and a sorcerer, but I'm not sure if I should use Carsomyr(that sword from Fierkraag) or Crowm Faehyr, i mean with Crowm Faehyr i got to use a shield and i can make my char a decoy for my 2 friendly barbarians destroy every monster i see, but carsomyr is so cool, anyway I asked a few days ago how this damage thing worked, and some fella told me that it is more certain to make a hit when I use a 2d6 (for example) than when i use a 1d12 weapon, so i would like to hear wut u guys can say about carsomyr and crowm faehyr.
Thanks 4 ur help.

well in my opinion I woul dhave your Pally use Carsomyr. Maybe give the hammer to your cleric ( i tend to do this and armor them up as back up fighters) or one of the barbarians.

I think you will find the dispel magic a good thing to have.

Use Carsomyr yourself and then give the Crom Faeyer to your Barbarian.

Remember that the Paladin can only spend two points in each proficiency class, so you can make him proficient both in the two-handed swords and warhammers. But I suggest that you choose the Carsomyr, a better weapon, IMO, plus that there is only a few good warhammers to choose from, and you get the Crom Faeyr so late in the game. ;)

Okz, thanks fellas, and just for sure... Carsomyr i can get by defeating Fierkraag, right?! i mean, i wouldnt like to spend hours trying to kill that one, and then get a two-handed sword +2, lol.

Yeah, the carsomyr is from Frikraas. Crom faeyr is from a variety of places, most of which I can remember if you need them.

Personly id replace one of your barbarians with a mage/cleric - with only a sorceror your going to have a limited selection of spells, but with a mage/cleric in your party he can have all those esoteric spells like protection for fire and so on the a sorc would never touch but which can come in extremely handy at the right time. Plus he can revive your main cleric should the need arise.

Hmm, i see, but if i get that rod of ressurection, the guy that keeps Haer Dallis imprisoned drop one, i can ressurect any char with anyone, but i know wut u mean, my party has too many tanks, hehe, my thief is a dwarf fighter/thief so i got like 4 tanks, lol, ill try with the original party if it doesnt work i'll do as u advice, thanks.

a tip do not only put points in two handed sword for yoru pally but also two handed weapons It helps. Two handed weapons give you an edge with any two handed weapon wether it is a sword spear Halbard quaterstaff etc. It is simmilar to dual wield or single weapon skills

If you have Throne of Bhaal, there's an decent 1-handed holy sword available on the 3rd floor of Watcher's Keep. It's a bastard sword.
