The Wizards of the Coast website has added a new description of a character fro the Cleric Quintet. Cadderly, the star of the series has been made public along with his stats and abilities. They hae done this to show us how we can make our own Chosen of Deneir character.

I do not know if you are interested or not, but at least it was interesting to read about after reading the series.

Here is the link.

Wow, how to make a Chosen of a god? Sounds like a wonderful new way to create horrible munchkin bastards like Elminster.

Its FR. What did you expect? And I believe one of the FR sourcebooks also has a Chosen of Bane Template.

Anybody interested in a Forgotten Realms Adventure Generator? Go here!

FR is by far the best!!!!! But no DM in his/her right mind is going to allow such powerfull chars unless they had some way to screw them over. In my current group, we havent played chars past 9th lvl yet.....

Well, we have made it up to level 16 with 3:ed characters, and in the last battle most of the characters died.

Even if the characters were a bit above average, they died fairly easy. The problem with screaming munchkin is that you donīt know how to really be mean as a DM.. ;)

Demons are very good for example to mess things up. Call in friends, darkness at will even at a low CR, the higher demons donīt like to fight fair etc etc.

The characters didnīt want to go the the place where the demons were, they decided to hold that one off, cause they realised that even if they had good equipment, high level, they wouldnīt make it out alive. ;)

I like the FR setting, but I prefer to run my own actually.

Judging from the sales numbers..you are in a very very very small minority there Neb I like the Forgotten Realms, however I don't do PnP anymore so I just enjoy the Novels
