I had a meeting at the running club I go to yesterday. It was a pretty big thing, with around 30 people there, some from the council and some from the club. Our club was requesting money for renavation, etc. Anyway, we all had to sit at a huge table with some old guy at the head. So we all sat. Around half an hour into the meeting I started getting pains in my left leg. I figured it must have been the sprinting I had done the day before, and did nothing about it.
Then, ten minutes later I had a HUGE spasm and basically kicked the table REALLY hard, as well as the woman opposite me *cringe*. God, how embarrasing. I was there as visual aid. Since I have been rewarded sponsorship, the club wanted to show taht they can train serious athletes and deserve the money. And then I kick a table?!? The looks I got ranged from "What the HELL?" to "I swear, I'm gonna kill you when we get out of here". And the problem was it DIDN'T STOP. I kept it up for 7 minutes before I asked to be excused and went to kick the wall in the toilets. 7 more minutes of writhing uncontrollably while the people around me tried to carry on a meeting. Luckily, we got the money, but still...*MEGA cringe*
It really is one of those things you laugh at afterwards. And I did. After a few beers. :D

Yikes! It is funny now, but probably pretty nerve wracking at the time! Good thing you did get the funding! :D Is everything ok with your leg now?

I really don't know about my leg at the moment, Cloudy. I think it was just a muscle thing, and it was probably random, but I don't know if it'll happen again. I'm booked in at the GP on Friday, just to be safe.

Oh I have had a moment like that, I was talking to a girl at a pub, really nice one, and then I got this spasm in my leg, kicked her in her calf and spilled her beer over her...

She left...

Stupid leg...

I got that a lot when I played football for all those years. It's completely harmless, as far as I know. Saying that, I never went around kicking tables... you're completely insane, Horatio :D

That sounds like a good idea! It may have just been a random spasm, but you're better off being sure!
