I probably will be finishing PS: T this weekend, and want a new game. I have Morrowind but am reluctant to start it. Which is better? Should I by Divine Divinity, despite the silly name?

Do yourself a BIG favor and go over to the Black Isle Forums and then go to the RPG General Gaming Forum. There is a great post by Monte Carlo on "Divine Divinity" (I think that is his name)and read what he and others have written. DD sounds very impressive.

I agree...Attalus, try Divine Divinity. I just bought it and had to force myself to go to bed last night. Looks like I'm going to be doing some near all-nighters with this one! ;D

Don't listen to them :D Go with Morrowind, awesome game.

Hard to say. I´m in to 4 games now since I convinced the hubby to buy divine devinity yesterday. Although Morrowind is very good I think it´s easier to get hooked on DD, despite the graphics in the game. That locked 3rd person view didn´t make me jump with joy. Try it out though, there´s a demo if you´d like a test run before you buy. It´s only a 400Mb download

Hi, here's the link to my review and the subsequent thread:

I've seen the demo and your review, Monte. Hmm, Johnny, 4 to 1 against. Not looking good for dusty ol' Morrowind. ;)

Excellent review Monte Carlo! I have heard good things about this game and when I finish IWD2 I will likely get it.
|
Depends on your taste in games. I liked Morrowind much better than the demo for Divine Divinity.

All right, Mark, would you tell me why you like Morrowind? I heard that it was repetitive and that character generation was primitive.
