I just had a thought (oh my god!!). You know when Sarevok died he lost his bhaalspawn essence. Well what about Imoen? If she gets killed (after you get her essence/soul back from Bodhi, shouldnt she lose her essence to? I mean come on, how is she different?
thats odd; ive had the same thought too a while back, then I just shrugged and accepted it, it would be too hard to keep control of two main chars. maybe its coz shes NOT the one the prophecy speaks of...
I assume you mean if she dies and is then resurrected?
I guess that's the deal...if she's resurrected, her essence is re-implanted back into her. AFAIK, no one bothered to resurrect Sarevok after BG1! BTW, isn't this a ToB question, since Sarevok doesn't pop up again until ToB? ;) |
ive never played bg 1, so is sarevok the one the prophecy spoke untill you kill him?
no no no; your character, the main PC is the one the prophercy speaks of, didnt you ever finish tob? I wont spoil it.
One of Imoen's "powers" as a Bhallspawn is that she doesn't crumble into energy when her body dies. I don't think Balthazar does either. So as long as you resurrect her, death does not remove her Bhaal taint.
Yes your probably right (as stupid as that sounds!) is should be in the ToB forum, but hey what can you say? But you ressurect Sarevok at the begining of ToB (and if your thinking, OH he spoiled it for people who dont have ToB well i did put (Spoiler) in the title of the post!) and he has no essence. It also says in the storyline that is you die you lose the taint.... the essence! So explain that ! huh, come on, im waiting!!
At the begining of TOB you can resurrect sarevok because you give him a part of YOUR essence or Imoens essence.
