Who is James Patterson?

James Patterson is as mentioned a novelist. Did you see the film "Kiss the Girls" with Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd that film is based on his book of the same name. Most of his books like for example Kiss the Girls are about a detective named Alex Cross there quite good if you like reading you should try one of his books probably.

I did not watch "Kiss the Girls", but how does his novels relate to this incident?

Basically the sniper is the sort of thing that would happen in a James Patterson novel you would have to read them to understand.
