Well, i think this is the end... the end of baldurs gate 2 for me. There is a major bug in my game, not allowing me to play right. I reinstalled, got the patch.. still nothing. When i click on multiplayer then where i type the game name it type 33333333*3*3*3*3*3*3* and so on. if i try to backspace it it will come back. same happens with single player. Then, if i get into my game, it wont even play right. The screen will start flashing my special abilites as if i clicked the button then got out of it then clicked it again, all within a few seconds. Even before it starts doing that, it gives me about 7 seconds of play then flashes, then starts up the problem above. i tryed everything, wont work. So, i guess this is the end of my baldurs gate playing. Too bad, was my favorite game :( . Its been fun,

The number thing is a weird bug that hits a lot of people. Usually I can solve it with a reboot, but what also works is toggling NUMLOCK on and off and hitting the affected key on the numeric keypad. (really.)

yes!! it worked! thank you! i am forever gratefull, i fixed everything! all the other glitches stopped when i did that num lock and number 3 thing. [img]smile.gif[/img] thanks man

I know things can be rough sometimes man. Like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. But always remember there are others, soulmates, that are willing to help you, protect you from the evil that prohibits you to play THE game. And dont scare people like that anymore!!!

ok i ask for help next time lol. The thing is, that glitch caused other glitches in the game preventing me from playing! thats why i said i had to stop! like on time when it first started i only had control of one char and when i clicked on my PC it went back to that one NPC, it got really annoying. another one was the screen kept flashing and messed up the game. But now i fixed both of them and i can play again!
