Ok here is the latest scoop.

Supposedly this guy has been in contact with the police and has demanded 10 million dollars to be deposited in a domestic bank account. This whole issue has me wondering about a few things so Im hoping that this whole issue is relevent enough to warrent being posted in GD instead of the Polls forum. (mods if Im wrong on that account, please don't hesitate to move this.)

Did you not know, that it is already against the law to shoot someone in the face and kill them? There are many laws against murder, and yet it still happens. Why not enforce the laws that exist and make the penalties really nasty instead of cushy cells with color tv? Ya know i'll tell it to everyone plain and simple, if i felt the need to kill i wouldnt care for any laws. Errmm no i dont feel the need to kill (except Kat) [img]tongue.gif[/img] :D but the fact is that people like that dont really care for laws.

Does anyone *seriously* belive its the actual shooter that asked for this money? It could be someone else trying to get some money off someone elses work. That would explain how the shooteris so intelligent when it comes to getting away and not leaving any pattern, but how the blackmailer is stpid enough to specify a domestic account.
