Tonight, I saw the second shooting star in a week. The odd thing is that I live in New Jersey. The only time I've ever seen them was when I was training in the Mojave Desert while in the Army.

Yes, I wished on them both times.

Is this an omen?

Well, the Leonid Meteor Shower was about a week ago. It was the most intense it has been and will be for 50 years. It may just be a straggler. They are way cool though.
