I am sure most of you had and know of the accursed braces!*shudder*,well I don't have to worry about them YET...But just a few hours ago I got my spacers in,*shudder* I'm not having problems yet,but I keep feeling as though I'm swallowing them when I'm not,
I know I'm gonna hate this,

Don't worry, you'll live. :D

I had to wear braces for 7 years. My psychiatrist says that the emotional damage is healing nicely and I only need a couple more years of therapy. I'm sure that you will do equally as well.

Ack! Never had to wear braces before myself, hope you get used to them soon!

Never had Braces me-selff. Here is a trick.
Take your braces out. And brake the cord line of your neighbours car by jamming your braces on the cord! MWahahahahahaha!!! What not a good Idea? *leaves the thread mutterring siccies.*

I wore braces for about 4 years. It wasn't that bad. You get used to it after a while. Afterwards, you come out looking great. At least, that's what people tell me. ;)

antryg, your therapist says you're recovering? Mine just looked at me sadly. He said something like, "I hope I'm not around when you go nuts." ;) I guess I didn't handle the emotional stress that well. :D

Whenever you feel sad about your braces - just think of this guy in 'James Bond -Moonraker' ;)

Mahlennacht 12-19-2002 02:50 AM

(I ALWAYS wished I could have had stainless steel teeth like Jaws in Moonraker! No more cavities, or chipped teeth. I don't think metal in your mouth is bad - think of it as body enhancement for your teeth)
