I know it won't seem like much to those of you buried under 6 meters of snow but the heater in my house went out last Wednesday. This afternoon we finally got it fixed.
The weather here has been nice during the day but the nightime temps have been dropping close to freezing. When you live in an air leaky house it does tend to get cooler than I like it at least. It wouldn't have been so bad if my wife wasn't just now recovering from pneumonia and I have bronchitis. I now have a working heater and it is nice and toasty inside. Things are looking up!

P.S. The blackeyed peas didn't seem to work again this year. :D

Very glad to hear you have heat now!!! So you want some snow now? I have lots to spare! :D

antryg 01-06-2003 10:54 PM

I only have the heat set for 70F. It's not so hot that I want snow. Now if you'll wait until May and we are up to 90 or 100F that snow will be welcome.

LOL, well, it's 20 or so here so I'm not feeling bad if you have it at 70! :D Of course it's about 70 in here now.

What, you guys are cold when it's 20 degrees, it's minus something here. Lucky *mumble mumble* :D

I'm glad you got your heater working! This is the first winter since I moved out of my parents house (8 years ago) that I've had central heat, so I know what it's like to have a very cold house. I also hope that both you and your wife have a full recovery, soon!

Thanks Tiger Lady!

I'll tell you what I told the old JR Jansen. If the temp would just stay cold then we could adjust. When it goes from freezing to 70F in the same day, every day it gets a little hard on the ol' body.
