HOW BLONDE WAS SHE??

She Was Soooooooooooooo Blonde...
She thought a quarterback was a refund.
She thought General Motors was in the Army.
She thought Meow Mix was a CD for cats.
She thought Boyz II Men was a day-care center.
At the bottom of an application where it says "sign here," she wrote "Gemini."

She Was Soooooooooooooo Blonde...
She took a ruler to bed to see how long she slept.
She sent a fax with a stamp on it.
She thought Eartha Kitt was a set of garden tools.
She thought TuPac Shakur was a Jewish holiday.
Under "education" on her job application, she put "Hooked on Phonics".

She Was Soooooooooooooo Blonde...
She tripped over a cordless phone.
She spent 20 minutes looking at an orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."
She told someone to meet her at the corner of WALK" and "DON'T WALK."
She asked for a price check at the Dollar Store.
She tried to put M&M's in alphabetical order.

She Was Soooooooooooooo Blonde...
She studied for a blood test.
She thought she needed a token to get on "Soul Train."
She sold the car for gas money.
When she missed the 44 bus, she took the 22 bus twice instead.
When she went to the airport and saw a sign that said, "Airport Left," she turned around and went home.

She Was Soooooooooooooo Blonde...
When she heard that 90% of all crimes occur around the home, she moved.
She thought Taco Bell was Mexico's phone company.
She thought if she spoke her mind, she'd be speechless.
She thought she could only use her AM radio in the morning.
She had a shirt that said "TGIF," which she thought stood for "This Goes In Front"

What a load of dribble - you never got flack for posting stuff - you got it for posting 5 or 6 different threads on some days.

Good to see you back though - are you planning to rise to the daily or weekly challenge - will we see "Arvon's House of Fun"?

You were given "flack" because you post too many joke threads per day from what I recall. Some of us only post good jokes that we come across NOW and AGAIN, big difference.

Elif, hilarious joke, glad I'm not blond LOL! :D

Damn thats really funny.

Elif, this is really funny! :D

Arvon, others have answered you already but here's the scoop:

The complaints were not about your jokes, their quality or the fact you are posting them. They WERE about your posting multiple threads that pushed other threads off the first page, without a chance for discussion to get going, because you made several NEW threads in a few hours, and you did it almost every day. One joke to a thread. Some members noted that there are hardly any posters on the board who create as many as 7 joke threads in a few hours and you do it almost daily. Since they had made their concerns known to me, I very politely pointed this out and asked you if you would respect their concerns and try combining your many jokes into one thread.

Please note: I didn't tell you to stop posting, I didn't even tell you that your were in any way obligated to do it at the time, I simply conveyed the concern of your fellow members because I felt it was valid and asked if you might respect them by combining your jokes into one or two threads a day. You never answered me, but instead posted a thread insinuating that everyone hated your jokes, which is simply NOT the case and as you saw in that thread, many people reiterated that fact.

The way I understand it, most folk would LIKE to see your many jokes combined into one thread a day or every other day and then they could enjoy them all at once instead of in dribs and drabs.

Now in all fairness to Elif, we should stop arguing over your issue. Your gripe has turned his attempt to share humor with everyone into a debate over your own situation.

Back to the blondes! ;)

I'm 100% with Cloudy on this and would support a daily (or other period as warranted) consolidated joke thread. If anyone's nose has been put out of joint by this, then I assure the injured parties that the intention was purely to improve the functioning of our community.
