Well... what if instead of using their aurora engien for a starwars game, they made a Battle Tech/Mech Warrior Game with Aurora... That would be awesome... Role play a mech jockey and build your mech and have combat like Net mech but with better graphics and LOTS of customizablity and a GM mode :D

OMG wait a second, if Baldur's gate had one of the best stories of a video game ever and if Myth the fallen lords had one of the best plots for a video game ever too, and Halo had some of the best textures... and Fasa had some of the best physics for a videogame ever...

They'd have it all! OH and they could use Biowares Shadow Physics from MDk2 and NWN!

Hopefuly, /)eathkiler has a point here. M$ have aquired a *vast* amount of talent in their gaming department, and they have demonstated the capability of churning out good games. M$ games are better than EA games for example.

In theory, the combined talents of all the studios they now own could produce something truly stunning.

Unfortunately, I think its more likely to go the other way. All that talent turned towards the X-box, with few if any of the top games headed for the PC.

i don't belive this. microsoft has started to be more careful where they tread since the Halo "incident". i'm talking about the way nearly everyone i know has boycotted the X-box becuase they stopped halo coming out for PC on time. there being slaughtered in sales by GC and PS2 partly becuase of this. if they do this it'll just be another nail in the coffin IMO.
