Hello, I posted earlier asking for advice. My BG2 CD3 was too scratched for me to install the game, and I was asking for advice. I then heard that furniture polish ( or car wax, metal polish) would fix it, and it did! Just waxed on, waxed off, and now it reads. Just wanted everyone to know before they spent money trying to fix a scratched cd. Now if I can only find the 2nd CD..../sigh

<font color="lightblue">Spit also helps, as it has a chemical that protects data; but NEVER put snot onto a CD,because it has a chemical that corrodes data.

Well, I've heard of spit-shined boots, but spit-shined CD's... Ach!

I do not even want to know how the warning about snot came about.
