1) If your PC is a Thief, you cannot work for Bodhi. What about Multiclassed Thieves? Does her ban extend to them as well?
2) If you store stuff in your future Stronghold before the map changes, you'll lose the stuff there. I've heard this most often happening with the de'Arnise Keep and the Ranger cabin, so I know it happens there. But I'm curious about the other classes.... Thief: I didn't notice any change in the map at all. Is it safe to stash your gear there prior to owning it? Paladin, Cleric: I don't see any room for change. Does it? Druid: There's no storage there in the first place, so why even bother? Worst damn stronghold I've ever seen..... Bard: Never played it, couldn't tell you. Is it safe to stash your bear there beforehand? Mage/Sorcerer: Ditto. |
For the Bard, there are little/if any storing spaces so don't worry bout it. There are a few tables here n there.

Are you sure it's ALL strongholds that (get new maps/have all containers emptied)? I just want to put a very precise warning, as to where NOT to put stuff, in my Guide.

The Temple of Lathander's containers don't empty.. At least I know that if you open "your" chest before you get your room there, you get Flamestriked and there's a potion of healing inside the chest. If you open it after you get your space, the trap is still there, and so is the potion.
However, the Temple and Guild are the only maps that don't change when you get the stronghold.. Maybe that has something to do with it. Then again, maybe not. I don't know. |
Yeah....for the Cleric and Paladin strongholds, it seems kinda silly to create a whole duplicate map when it's only one little room that's now yours.
Well, I've only heard people complain about losing stuff in the Fighter, Ranger, and Bard strongholds, so I'll just warn about those. |
