This f'ing thing has taken up to drilling away on my chimney. The stupid thing doesn't even realize that it's a metal chimney for an airtight, so it echo's all over the house at 3AM.

For last two weeks now this same woodpecker has been waking me up at 3 AM. Do you know how irratating and annoying that is? You'd think it would know the difference between wood and metal...but no the dumb bird just keeps hammering away.

Anybody got any ideas on how to get rid of a 'pecker probem? :D

Do you have a shotgun ? That'll scare Woody away. :D

Sounds like a real smartass. :D I wouldn't know anything else, i never had to deal with things like that. Maybe you should try to find out where he lives, and when he's sleeping, you go knocking on his nest for a while and see how he likes that. :D
