IMO these characters would be a must for any evil party:
Korgan Edwin Vicionia Jan Jansen Then one of three: Yoshimo haer'dalis Anmonen Spoiler * * * * * Though if Anomen passes his test he becomes lawful good so if you want him in a evil party he'd have to fail it. Jaheria and Cernd won't do because if you poison the druid grove(the evil path) I heard they leave. There is such a thing as an evil knight it's called an anti-palidan but you can't be that class in SOA. However you can be it in the unoffical mod the darkest day which BTW is now apparently compatible with TOB. I'd say a assassin is more evil than a fighter the whole idea of an assassin is very evil. |
Korgan, Viconia, and Edwin are obvious must-haves because they're the only Evil NPCs in the game. Sadly, there are no Evil Thieves, so unless you're a Thief yourself you might want to go Multiplayer and create a 2nd PC to do your robberies for you. That's what I did with my Evil game--I just made myself another Montaron (A Neutral Evil Halfling Fighter/Thief from BG1), and we got along fine.
I would say an Assassin is more evil than a Fighter, which is not to say a Fighter couldn't be just as Evil as any Assassin. |
Oh, and P.S.: In my Evil game, I actually DID find a way to SPOILER
- - - - - - - - poison the Druid Grove and keep Cernd in my party, but it was almost certianly a bug/cheese. |
Yes, you'll also need the assassin. So hard to find a good thief, and the assassin is a not to shabby fighter. Keep an empty party member slot if you get ToB, you'll need it.
