I thought I saw a second scroll case in my travels but now I can't find it. I know there are several Gem Bags, so I'm thinking I may have been thinking about them and dreamt up the extra scroll case.
Does anyone know? If so, where is it?

You didn't dream it. There are several scroll cases in the game. Two of them are in Waukeen's Promenade.

You can get one from Galoomp the Bookkeeper just north of the Den of Seven Vales. You can get another from the Lady scrollseller in the back of the Adventurer Mart.

There are also others in the game; one in Trademeet, I believe.

There are six, repeat SIX, scroll cases and gem bags (six of each) in SoA.

Five scroll cases, not six, if memory serves me well.

Bernard, Copper Coronet( have to buy before you rescue the gladiator slaves)
Lady Yuth, Adventurer's Mart( at the back)
Noble Merchant, Tradesmeet( have to handle the Tradesmeet crisis first)
Daytime Merchant, Docks District( at the entrance of Rayic's House)
Galoomp, Waukeen's Promenade( spell scroll merchant)

Hmph.. I've searched everywhere, and I can't find the sixth, but I'm almost certain there are six. I remember that at the end of SoA each of my party members had a gem bag and a scroll case in their inventory. I don't know, though, maybe I'm mistaken.

This may seem a stupid thing to say, but do you really need so many scroll cases.

There are two cases in Tradmeet - the noble merchant has one, and wallace has the second one.

I know I never have...two has generally been enough for me, and that's just to transport a load of scrolls to Imoen in Spellhold.

Gem bags, on the other hand, are a commodity I wish they had had a little more of. :/ Or, at least, that they'd hold a little more than 20 gems when you're hoarding all the Rogue Stones and King's Tears you can find for ToB. [img]tongue.gif[/img] (I STILL swear the icon for the gem bag looks like a rip-off of a Crown Royal bag!)
