When you first popped it into the disc tray, that beautifully smelling BG2 disc 2 and ready to play, what were your first thoughts??

I thoughts Jons Pad was the de arnise hold

I also thought Maevar was a npc I could get

I thought i was level 1

Foolish mistakes, but minutes later i was having major fun. What were your first thoughts?

My first thoughts was confusing cause i couldnt find any weapons or free Jaheria and Minsc...so i ran out with a mage without spells and got wacked by a Lightning mephit..almost threw the game on the shelf right there. But i got past it after my next try and now a year later and 9 times thought SoA and 5 through ToB is am still going strong [img]smile.gif[/img]

I didnt find the armour, and so I got killed by the first set of goblins

and

second time around I couldnt find the pedestals to unlock the wands, so I died again when trying to cross

"I wonder what the magic in this game is like?"

I remember that I couldn't install the game for about a week after I bought it because I needed to buy a new hard drive, because my PC had no room for it. I read the booklet cover-to-cover, and remember looking through the NPCs.. I remember thinking, WHAT ABOUT KHALID? ISN'T KHALID IN THE GAME? THEY HAVE JAHIERA!
I remember that when the golem spoke of intruders entering the complex, I thought that he was referring to Imoen and Jahiera and Khalid who had busted in to save me.. How naive.
You all know how when you save, or an area loads, the game gives you little tidbits of information? The first time I loaded up, it said, "When you knock a troll down, use fire or acid on its body to kill it." And I was thinking oh-KAY, that's a great way to ease someone into a new game, hurl trolls at them!
