Worst thing? The worst thing was definatley psychological. The media had me confused. I thought Hurricane Isabel was gonna come up to Canada with all it's power and fury.

I read a funny bit on another site that claims Tom Brokaw referred to "Hurricane Isabel" as "Hurricane Israel" at least three times during his show on Thursday

Worst thing that happened to me when the hurricane came through was the loss of power and our basement flooding (cleanup).

I feel lucky though, there are still many in my area out of power, been six days for them now.

I heard one guy call into a local radio station on Monday morning, said they had a neighbor that had FIVE generators going, but he would not share with anyone else. So, they decided to go out and piss on his generators, shorting them out, so he had no power at all like they did.

Now I can see where one might get pissed sitting in the dark with some neighbor all lit up and watching TV, etc., living it up so to speak, not sharing or being neighborly, over-doing it so to speak. But I think it is a pretty shite thing to do to that guy. I mean, hey, you can buy generators and ultimately prepare for power outtages ahead of time if you make it a priority to do so, which many do not. Only time most want a generator is when the power is out, once power comes on they'd rather not spend the money, etc. So I say don't get mad cause somebody prepared better than you did, or maybe can afford more than you can.

I see both sides, but I still think the "pissers" ultimately were wrong in doing that.

Methinks that the "pissers" decision was fueled, in some way, by alcohol...

Oh that I would not doubt Bungleau!
