What are the best weapons, when it comes to Elf, Human and Half-elf? I'm talking about swords, bows, staffs and such, i'm trying to setup a deadly team and well need the info>..thanks..oh I have Shadow Keeper so i can setup whatever i want!!!

The best swords would be:

Short sword-Short sword of backstabing,sword of mask (TOB only)
long sword-daystar,namara,blade of roses
two handed sword-Vorpal sword,Lilarcor(SP?)Carsomyar(SP):the two handed Palidan only sword,soul reaver(evil characters only)
Bows:
Heartseeker+3,elven court bow
short bows:gesen bow, tanerhons bow(sp)theone bought in trademeet
Staffs:Staff of the magi,staff of Rynn(bought in adventurers mart.

Well that's all I can think of now but there is alot more.

Here are things to add to your list:

Short Sword: Cutthroat +4

Long Sword: The equilizer, Blackrazor

Two-handed sword: Warblade +4

Bows: Mana Bow +4

Staffs: Staff of Power, Martial Staff

Katanas/Wakazachis/Ninja-tos: Dak'kon's Zerth Blade (TOB), Celestial Fury

Crossbows: Crossbow of flame (can't remember exact name) Giant Hair Crossbow, Crossbow of Speed

Clubs: Blackblood, Bone Club, Root of the Problem

Maces: Mace of Disruption +2, Handmaiden's Mace

Daggers: Dagger of Poison

The best weapon in SoA is Crom Faeyr. Period. The weapon has one drawback: you get it too late in the game. Therefore, somebody in your party should train warhammers but that somebody need not haste.
Other good weapons were listed above. I can add:
Halberds: You can find one very good halberd during the Unseeing Eye quest. Much better halberd is available in the Underdark. I daresay the later halberd belongs to the best weapons in the game.
Maces: Don't let us forget Scullcrusher.
Axes: There are two +3 perpetual throwing axes: Rifthome Axe (only available when you side with Bodhi) and Azuredge. Both Azuredge and Rifthome Axe can be set to throwing or normal mode.

i have to Agree Crom Fayer is the ultimate weapon i used it with my best fighter and cleaned up levels that were alot more difficult the 1st time thru
