Aren't we getting just a little carried away with these solar flares? My cell phone didn't even stop working when we had a supposed "storm"

My toaster freaked out! Gave me scrambled eggs instead :( Well, the last large solar flare provided me with a nice memory of the northern lights viewable from my attic |
NY didn't get to see any Auroas, or at least not westchester, it was too damn cloudy. And am I the only who is saying wuts up with the sun lately, big solar flares within the last 2 weeks, seems rather odd, doesn't it.

so how long will this solar flare phenemenon will last? Just like Secretmaster I say is something going wrong with the sun?
|
no one really knows, it could just be a fluke of flares, but never know, but the whole point of the thread was so you guys could hear what one sounded like, least i thought it was cool to hear one

Just outta curiousity, how big is this sound file? Haven't loaded it yet, but if its more than 1mb, screw it, it'll take forever on this modem.
But on the other topic, I am seriously wondering wuts up with the sun. May be its dying out quicker than we expected it to? |
it is 59.4 kbs, not sure if that is big or not, lol, it loads in a second on my computer
