I have just recently aquired baldurs gate 2 the shadows of amn, and i have been playing it fow what seems like ages. Only problem is im stuck and i need help. I am at the part where i am exiting the slums through underground passage at the back of copper coronet. I have got to the pipe puzzle sextion and i cannot figure out how to get the items into the pipes. I have all four items and i know what order they go in but i cant get them in and i keep getting frazzled.

Please help

The double arrow sign will appear when you move your cursor nearthe opening of pipes. All you have to do is click the pipes in the right order to get the sword.

I, personally, am of the belief that the "Use This Item" mouse pointer looks waaaay too much like the "You Can't Walk Here" mouse pointer.

Yeah, I had that problem too... I think you should put the third item in first, that's what I did... the pipes start from left to right, so go over to the third pipe (1)pipe--> 2)pipe--> 3)pipe) and try that one... also, make sure the items are in the correct order in your inventory.

Just a little note. You have click twice before you activate a pipe. Once to read a verse, then another click to place the item in.
