The apex unit will use a 1.4gz pentium chip with nforce graphics for around $4oo.The Alienware version is expected to use faster components, but the equiptment hasn't been finalized yet.It will play any xp game and has support from microsoft on next-generation usability features.Not to shabby if you don't need to upgrade your comp for any other reason than wanting to play newer games.And as soon as conected to the internet it recognizes your installed games and automaticly downloads patches and updates to your game folder free of charge.I got my info from GMR magazine and the website, looks pretty cool.

its interesting actually ;) but its starting to be obsolete since some of the newer games need more than what it carries.

I can't seems to get the specification of the said device from their web site.

There are some issues that I would like to know:

1. Upgradability?

2. Expected product life cycle?

3. Any bundled gadgets, controllers and etc?

4. Additional functionality like play DVDs, Ethernet port (for xDSL and network) and etc?

It looks cool but I will hold on to my wallet until some of the above issues are addressed.

cool, should be nice to play a pc game on a 50 inch projector monitor. :D

looks ok, but i would still prefer an upgradable/customisable desktop pc

Hmm I guess it's good for gamers but most adults will want a PC mainly for work and will play the occasional game.
