I am sort of trapped in the room in the bridge district that you can only enter with a gem. I've killed all the enemies but I can't go back. There's also a machine that i can't opperate and and cauldron of blood with some kind of riddle on it.

You have to use the beholder's eye on the cauldron.

And where can I find the eye? BTW, The fight isn't so difficult is you summon a really big creature; like gate or summon fiend. The Beholder and stuff will only target the summoned creature :D

The eye should be on the behoder where you killed it. By the way Kangaxxx is the hardest fight, not the twisted ruins.

I killed Kangaxx a couple of times but I haven't defeated the Twisted Rune yet (maybe I haven't tried it enough, once or twice with a lvl 12 party)

You say po-tay-toe, I say po-tay-toe, George Dubya says po-tah-toe. You Twisted Rune, someone else says Kangaxx, someone else says Celestial Fury, and George Dubya says the goblins in Irenicus's dungeon were super-hard. It's all a matter of opinion. There are many difficult fights, and they vary in difficulty depending on playing styles. I'm inclined to say that Kangaxx is easiest out of the Big Three, only because it's a six-against-one fight and you can all focus fire and rain death onto him, while CF and TR you face several enemies and must use strategy.
By the way, don't mind the political commentary. I couldn't help myself.

You get an overload of demons and other odds and ends set at you.

what do u get for killing kangaxx? and what is the best way to kill him?

Slayer... that should be the last thing on ur list if u can cast spells that protects u from it, but if u r a fighter soloing, then I think that turning into the Slayer is the only way out since he can't imprision u.
