Per day? per week? What keeps you coming back?

There was a poll about this in the User Created Polls forum not too long ago.
I'm usually around up to 5 hours a week, including when the website is open and I'm not there. Most of it is during the weekends, too.

I'm attempting to validate a theory, and unfortunately a simple poll doesn't go into the depth I'm looking for.

Well I leave my laptop on all the time since I'm in a college dorm room and permanently connected to the internet through a LAN, but I only spend about one dedicated hour a day on Ironworks, reading and posting.

Hard to calculate, as I come and go mostly. I log on sometimes at work during the day, but rarely post, just take a look inbetween working, duck in and out. Same for the evening, I always check in but only sometimes post, depends on what is going on, I sometimes go through phases where I post a lot in one night. :D You have to also realize that when a person leaves IWs, their name will still remain on Who's Online for a time. Dunno exactly what IWs is set for, 15 minutes is the usual time, but it could be 30 minutes as well, i.e., your name will remain on Who's Online for a time after you leave, even though you are gone. In other words, people like me who come and go may seem to always be online, but is not always the case. ;)

Well I can sometimes spend most of a weekend on here if im not doing anything else, but usually on average i would say 2 hours per day. That is quite a lot but this place is great, I just cant help but come back every day.

I'll check in a couple of times during the day, then post here in the evening when I'm drunk :D [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Only it's not the evening now, it's early morning. :eek:

I log on every few hours while I'm not asleep or at work to religiously check the role playing forums for new posts.

I am at Ironworks nearly everyday and stay there for 30 minutes. I go to the other 1 other site then come back. I now do it without realizing it!

Ahh i'm on maybe 1 hour each day but i am mostly on TSR and Oasis because i know 95% of the folks there and i like to know who i talk to [img]smile.gif[/img]
