This is probably teh easiest thing in the world to figure out but i'm stumped.. so please don't tease me... how do you backstab?

It will say they are LEaving Shadows, but they are still hidden until the moment they make the attack. </font>

Welcome Andrew to IW! And to backstab, hide in the shadows successfully with your thief, then go up to the enemies BACK, then attack. If you attack from the front, you won't get a backstab. And it isn't a stupid question.
