This is definately the best online dictionary I've encountered to date. And I've seen quite alot of them. Thought it might be of use to some people

Edit: it may be hard to find. But there is a dictionary in their somewhere ;)

There aren't any. ;)
Seriously, of course it depends on what you need it for, if it's just to make some simple sentences clear to a foreign friend on a rudimentary level, you could try Babelfish or something, but it isn't for nothing that people need to study long and hard to become translators. It's an art and a science rolled into one and much more difficult than most people know. There are no free computerised translators that are any good, expect for playing fun games (put something in and see what comes out).

well i can talk reasonably good/fluent German, but I thought it might be a nice tool to have, to improve some sentences, and find out new words etc.

The closest you'll get to that is an online German Dictionary. I use the one linked you to...works pretty well in my experience.
