Everytime I go to AH I see all polearm got cheap prices. It doesn't matter whether there are blue items or purple items. Polearm will go for 10 gold, 7 gold, 5 gold etc. Why? Why are they so cheap compare to other weapons? Anything wrong with polearm? I've been so tempted to use polearm because of the 'cheapness' of their prices.

No, Polearms are pretty popular especially in the higher levels. They don't really start to become usable till 30ish (save one or two that come lower) but consider yourself lucky. I used the grim reaper for ages on my main when I was leveling up and I loved it. The ice barbed spear is one you will see around quite a bit at 60ish and also that one that looks like a trident.

Aye, hunters and warriors start using them more at the higher levels - it's just that it costs a lot to train them at lower levels, and so people don't bother. At higher levels, it doesn't matter so much how much it costs.

Is it just me? or is polearm look more like a spear than a polearm? I was expecting something like a combination of a long axe plus a spear.

No, I think it's just a weapon with a long pole Halberds (like you described) are polearms, but they just don't have any in the game.

I also know what you mean, polearms are always terribly cheap on Proudmoore so I use them for my pally's 2 hander and never looked back :D
