does anybody have a list of all the items you can get in bg2 that that dwarf guy can put together e.g. the equalizer etc and where all the bits are?

specifically where are the bits for the vorpal sword?

Vorpal sword. When leaving Spellhold, don't use the portal. Go with Saemon and he will give you a piece. The second piece will find you.

how do u mean find me? does somebody give u the second piece too?

Yes and no. A group of Githyanki will attack you and have the second part.

I suggest searching for the pieces yourself first cause it's much more fun.

If memory serves well in the Underdark or chapter 6 Athkatla, although I'm not 100% sure.
edit: A gythianki will show up claiming the part of the sword you have.

You will not get the second part until you get back to Athkatla. If you are on the ship with Saemon, you should have the first piece.

On a side note, you should see the reaction of the Githyankis when I told them I sold the Silver Blade( and I did). Frankly... I do not really like the Silver Sword and think it tends to be over-rated.
