Now as some of you may know, I'm a bit of a web-entrepreneur - always looking for a business here, an online store there, to take over and turn into a success. I had several of these sites running, but have recently sold them all off to be able to afford my dream: my very own search engine. Today, it finally happened.

You guys would be doing me the hugest favour by adding it to your favourites and once in a while running a search through it. I just took it over today, and I'm feeling quite proud of myself. It cost an arm and a leg, but it doesn't matter when you finally own what you've wanted for so long.

I'd be more than happy to list any of your personal or business sites in the search engine index, by the way. It'd bring in a lot more traffic for you. Just post your URL and I'll get onto it.

You're right about needing advertising, it's what I'll now spend a lot of my free time doing. I've employed a small team of people to hammer the major search engines and create millions of banner impressions over the next few months, so fingers crossed. Marketing is not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
