Okay, when I was just opening DC++, this thingy appeared. Could anyone tell me what it is, is it dangerous and what should I do with it?

It's completely harmless, as far as I can tell. I should know, as I've actually "opened the download page" which simply leads to georgewbush.com using a detour. Just some fun pokin' at Bush's expense, as his site is indeed inaccessible in Europe at the moment after a decision by some campaign honchos to restrict access to the site to US citizens (I believe it's accessible from Canada as well, and let's not forget Poland ).

Wooaaaah!

Red Lights flashing.

Dont you press yes... Which ever one means yes I'm not sure... I dont speak the lingo!

That sounds like a bit o' nasty stuff to me. You click yes, then I'd guess somethings gonna burrow into your computer and cause mischeif in a pixie style fashion.

You clicked yes? You're braver than me. That could've easily been something nasty.

The left one is "yes"

*shrugs*
I'm not too worried with my University firewall and everything... It has popped up every time DC++ opened during the last week or so - if it was really all that harmful, it would have been removed ages ago.
'sides, I don't really buy into the entire Internet fear mongering schtick. There's not a trojan virus hiding behind every popup, and by using simple common sense, you'll be able to avoid them easily enough without any showmanship of extreme paranoia.

i can't view that site in Australia.
That's pretty strange that it would be restricted like that. Maybe it's less likely to be defaced that way.
