0xF7: DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER or 0x000000f7 or 0x000090d2

Anyone know how to debug this or fix or what causes it? I was told it was a video driver issue but it doesnt matter how many updates I do for this the problem seems to come back intermitenly. As of late though it has been once a week.

What application are you running when this fault appears?

Have you recently changed anything on your system?

Elif Godson 02-08-2005 06:57 PM

heck it just happened when I got to IW, it will sometimes happen in the middle of a game or just sitting at idle

Could be caused by a number of things. A driver fault is the thing to hope for though, because thats the cheapest thing to fix.

Try running windows update and grabbing any driver updates off that first.

Elif Godson 02-08-2005 07:05 PM

yeah, done that. All drivers are up to date :(

Dace De'Briago 02-08-2005 07:33 PM

Did the problem only occur after you updated the drivers?

And here i was expecting a thread about a guy run over by a floor buffer

Could be an issue. I would check it ASAP.
