Well,
it's nearing the 26th of July and I am reminded of Che Guevara.

So i was wondering what people here think of him; father of revoloution and great political leader, or mudrerous pig?

Idol of wannabe-rebels

Don't really know his story well enough, but to me there is nothing that says "■■■■ the system" better than sporting a t-shirt with Che guevara you bought for 24.99$ at the gap...

I think that he was a good man who fought for the right thing. Justice. Well they all say that. But from what I have read and seen (The Motorcycle diaries) I assume he was a man of good heart. Sure revolution is revolution but I think it was necessary.

*nods frantically*

I couldn't agree more, Jorath. The man is severly overrated. As is Bob Marley, and Elvis Presley for that matter.

Now, Pelvis(BLATANT SQ6 REFERENCE!) is definetly not overrated.

Never assume, especially based on data from leftist movies. The man was a murderous thug, and got what was coming to him.

LOL @ Jorath. :D

Yeah i do agree...

But i do find it amazing that 82 people can take a country, asymetric warfare or no, the cuban army had an airforce and a proper armed force and 82 poorly armed rebels can cause such an upheval.

I just find it amazing how some people are so absoloutly powerfull.

I think it's called charisma.

Bozos of Bones 07-05-2005 03:43 PM

Xen, you're right, but you've got too much letters. It should be CIA, not CharIsmA.
Che? Well, he was a man who thought the small guy ought to have a voice in matters. Some say he was duped over in Cuba, so he left to die on some other battlefield when he realised.
