Is there a site that can tell u how many * each class gets at different lvls?? just wondering cos im starting again and im trying to decide where to put my base *.

I remember seeing a table in the BGII manual (a pdf on the CD1 if I am not mistaken ;) )

Clerics, Druids, Thieves and Bards get 2* at level one, and gain an additional * at every four levels( 4, 8, 12, 16, etc...).

Mages and Sorcerers get 1* at level one, and gain an additional * at every six levels.

Fighters, Barbarians, Rangers and Paladins get 4* at level one, and gain an additional * at every three levels.

ADD] The .pdf manual does not cover this, much to my embarrassment several months ago.

Hence I did a full install, my HD directory contains nearly 2,5 Gb more data than the first CD ;) And it is much less logical too! On the cd, I remember a dir called manual or so...
