I'm considering getting one as a replacement work machine... but I don't see much about it online, which is both good and bad. No one's that unhappy, but it may be far newer than I'd like.

Nope.
But a quick google landed a nice looking machine. I'm drawing a blank, but something is bugging me about the magnesium alloy base they advertise. Was there not an issue with this a few years back? Maybe more modern technology has eradicated the effect.
